This cute large dog bandana kit is a no-sew project which you can quickly lace together with a plastic needle and fleece ribbon. The kit provides you with a 13-inch fleece fabric square folded in half into a half square triangle and two 35 inch fleece ribbons. The fleece bandana will measure 17 inches across the long side of the triangle, and 9 inches in height from the point of the triangle. Once you adjust the length of the fleece neck straps to fit the dog’s neck size it can be simply pulled on and off over the dog’s head because of the stretch in the fleece strap. Choose which fabric pattern you want for your dog bandana from the following options and include your choice in the order notes, or feel free to give us a call at 978-419-1824.

The kit is easily put together by simply lacing the two fleece strips through the tactile bordered holes on the left and right short sides of the fleece triangle using a plastic needle. You will start by lacing your plastic needle and fleece ribbon through the corner hole of the triangle point leaving about a 2-inch tail, then proceed up the left or right short side of the triangle with a running stitch going up and down through the holes until you reach the end of that side. Next, remove the fleece ribbon from the plastic needle and lace with the second fleece ribbon and put the needle and ribbon top-down through the corner hole of the triangle point again – moving the fleece ribbon tail over that was previously laced so that you can squeeze the new ribbon top-down through beside it leaving a 2-inch tail. Then you will proceed lacing up the opposite short side of the triangle with a running stitch going up and down through the holes until you reach the end of this side. Once completed lacing the running stitches on both short sides of the triangle, you will tie a knot with the two tails at the point of the triangle. Finally, you will take the two long tails from the corner holes opposite the triangle point and simply put them around the dog’s head and tie a small knot or bow to make it fit snug with space enough for a few fingers to fit beneath. Then trim off the excess fleece strip tails and simply pull the dog bandana over the dog’s head to put it on and off.
